CARP Holds Working Session to Improve Service Delivery
The chairperson and members of the Complaints, Appeals and Review Panel (CARP) recently held a productive working session in the Training Room of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission to strengthen collaboration, review ongoing activities, and align strategies for improved service delivery.
During the session the CARP team engaged in constructive discussions on progress made so far, challenges encountered, and practical solutions to enhance efficiency and impact. They also explored ways to improve coordination, accountability, and the effective implementation of CARP’s mandate.
The working session provided a valuable platform for open dialogue, idea sharing, and forward planning, reaffirming CARP’s commitment to institutional reform, good governance, and sustainable development.
CARP is part of the PPCC framework but functions independently as a quasi-judicial mechanism, ensuring its decisions are impartial, and free from interference, and that all parties’ rights in procurement and concession processes are safeguarded. It also advises the PPCC on procurement regulations, procedural guidelines, and processes proposed for adoption to enhance fairness, transparency, and efficiency in handling complaints, appeals, and other procurement matters.
