Commissioner - Bishop Matthew W. Kantan, Sr.

Bishop Matthew W. Kantan is an ordained Minister of the Gospel, a leader and an astute public servant. He was appointed to the PPCC Board of Commissioner in 2023 by His Excellency Dr. George Mannah Weah. His appointment as Commissioner was preceded by a scrupulous cross examination and confirmation proceedings conducted by the Liberia Senate. Bishop Kantan is the Founder and General Overseer of the Evangel World Outreach Ministries, Inc. 

He previously served the Liberian Government as Special Assistant to the Director General of the Civil Service Agency. He has also worked in the education sector, as well as Non-Governmental Organazation, where he served as educator/classroom teacher and project manager respectively. He holds a BA Degree in Biblical Studies (Bible & Theology) and several certificates in the field of Theology and other areas of studies. He has travelled extensively and attended seminars and international conferences to deepen his knowledge and provide his expertise on the development and growth of the Church.
