Commissioner - Mr. Roosevelt Woods

Mr. Roosevelt A.K. Woods is a Liberian, a human rights activist with impeccable character. He was born into the union of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Kofi Woods, Sr., in the Township of Caldwell, Montserrado County, and has primarily worked within the NGO sector for over 15 years. Mr. Woods serves as Executive Director of the Foundation for International Dignity (FIND), a pro-democracy and human rights organization working in Liberia since 2003. He has worked in this capacity since February 2008. 

Mr. Woods completed his graduate education at the Cuttington University Graduate Program, where he was awarded a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration, emphasizing Public Sector Management. Mr. Woods previously attended the Bayero University in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Mass Communication, concentrating on Radio & Television Production and IT Technology. He is happily married and blessed with six children. He was initially appointed to the PPCC Board of Commissioners in December 2018 and reappointed in April 2023 by His Excellency George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia.
