
The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has confirmed the arrest and detention of Mr. Abdullai L. Kamara, former Chairman of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) and current CEO of Tamma Corporation, on multiple corruption charges.
Kamara was remanded to the First Judicial Circuit, Criminal Court “C” in Montserrado County on charges including:
• Economic Sabotage
• Theft of Property
• Misapplication of Entrusted Property
• Criminal Facilitation
• Criminal Solicitation
• Criminal Conspiracy
The indictment, based on an extensive LACC investigation, accuses Kamara and co-defendant Fabian Laveland, CEO of Tamma Corporation, of illegally disbursing public funds and falsifying official records, causing significant financial loss to the state.
A court-issued arrest warrant, signed by Judge Ousman F. Feika, led to Kamara’s apprehension on September 8, 2025.

The case is expected to proceed to trial this term at Criminal Court “C”.
